Italy’s Enzo Castellari says he is making a movie that will feature cameos for the filmmaker and original “Django” actor Franco Nero.

ROME – Veteran Italian director Enzo G. Castellari, one of the last of the original Spaghetti Western helmers still working, says he has a new project planned and that Quentin Tarantino has promised to make a cameo appearance in the film.

The film, to be called Badlanders, will also include a small role for Franco Nero, whose 1966 portrayal of the brooding protagonist in Sergio Corbucci’s Spaghetti Western classic Django was the inspiration for Tarantino’s blockbuster Django Unchained.
